Girls in Science: Meals with Mentors November 6

The Science Center of Iowa will be hosting our Girls in Science: Meals With Mentors event on Thursday, November 6 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm as a part of our Girls in Science Initiative. Meals with Mentors (Grades 7–12)

Thursday, November 6, 2025  (6:00–9:00 PM)

Join us for an inspiring evening designed to connect girls in grades 7–12 with female college students in STEM fields and accomplished women STEM professionals. Over a plated dinner, participants will engage in meaningful conversations about how STEM shapes lives and careers. 

The evening also includes exclusive time to explore the Science Center of Iowa and participate in hands-on workshops led by STEM role models. 

This event is free for girls to attend

Interested in attending this event as a mentee? Mentees are middle and high school girls, in grades 7-12, with an interest in STEM. Mentees will enjoy a plated dinner, explore the science center, and participate in workshops of their choice on the night of the event.
