About Bid 4 The Kids
In its 16th year, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School’s largest fundraiser is the annual Bid 4 the Kids Auction which strengthens our school community through a fun-filled evening of fellowship and the opportunity to bid on fantastic silent, Insta buys, and live auction items. Generous auction donations from community members, businesses, parish, and school families provide financial support that enhances every aspect of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School to provide an excellent environment for educating our children. The total focus of the auction is fulfilling the needs of our school by helping financially support programs, curriculum, fun activities, and providing a healthy and safe environment for our children.
Our annual auction will be held on Saturday, February 5th, 2022. We would love to have your support again this year by attending the event or donating in any which way you can! We work so hard to make this successful for everyone. You make all the difference for SFA!

WHO: All SFA families & parish members are welcome and are encouraged to attend! Parents-only event.
WHAT: Boots & Bling, fun-filled evening of fellowship, and the opportunity to bid on fantastic silent and live auction items!
WHAT’s INCLUDED: unlimited drinks, dinner and entertainment you won’t want to miss!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? The auction is not a formal event. It is casual, but as we know everyone’s interpretation of casual is different. Whatever you might wear on a dinner date with your spouse will be perfect! You can wear your most blingy outfit or throw on your cowboy boots and come as you are!!
WHAT’S FOR DINNER? Our menu is mostly gluten-free! Please note that there is a vegetarian option. If you would like a vegetarian meal, please email Heather & Miranda by Saturday, January 25th.

WHERE: The SFA school halls and gym will transform into a night you won’t want to miss! You can enter the building through either the north or south main school doors. NOT the Kids Care doors by the playground.
WHEN: Saturday, February 5th, 2022 at 5:30 PM.
HOW LONG WILL THE AUCTION TAKE? WHAT DO I TELL MY BABYSITTER?
Doors open at 5:30 with silent auction bidding and open bars. We will be seated for dinner at 6:45. Live portion of the auction is scheduled to end around 9:15. The music will end around 11:00.
WHY: The auction is our school’s largest fundraiser! All money raised goes directly to our Home and School Association for curriculum enhancements, teacher support, class parties, hospitality, and other identified needs for the growth of our school. Such as this year’s Fund-A-Wish of playground improvements (more details to come). We are working towards enriching our outdoor learning.
AM I GOING TO BE PRESSURED TO BUY SOMETHING? NO! Just coming to the event helps financially, promise. And more importantly, you will leave having a fun night with dinner, live music, and time with new & old friends. We do however want you to know that the price range of items is wide with many affordable items.
