School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC)

The School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC) is having its first meeting on Oct. 28 at 6:00 pm in the Serra Room.  Please enter the building by the church.  Signs will point to the room.  This is an open meeting for our community!  We invite parents and students to attend.  This is an opportunity to be a part of a committee that works towards school improvements.

SIAC is the School Improvement Advisory Committee and is a subcommittee of the Board of Education.

The advisory committee consists of members representing students, parents, teachers, administrators, and the local community. 

The Board of Education will utilize the recommendations from the school improvement advisory committee to determine the following:

 a. Major educational needs.

 b. Student learning goals. 

c. Long-range and annual improvement goals that include, but are not limited to, the state indicators that address reading, and mathematics.

d. Desired levels of student performance. 

e. Harassment or bullying prevention goals, programs, training, and other initiatives. 

Agenda for Oct. 28:

1) Opening Prayer and Introductions

2) Review of the current school improvement plan

3) Faith Goal(s) for school improvement plan and needs assessment to be performed
