Seniors Come Home Mass: Please join us on Wednesday, May 22  at 8:45 as we celebrate all high school seniors who graduated from St. Francis School.

Lunch auto debit: The final auto debit of the school year is scheduled for June 7th. The amount debited on June 7th will be the amount owed in your lunch account on the last day of school. If there is a credit in your account it will carry over to next year.

2019-2020 School Supply Order is now available (School Id STF024). Be sure to order supplies for the grade your student will be 2019-2020 school year. An email confirmation will be sent with every order as a receipt. Please be aware that if you did not receive an email confirmation, your order was not placed. Boxes will be available for pick up on August 22nd  (teacher/supply drop off day).  The ordering deadline is June 7th. No extra orders are placed. 8th Grade Graduation Dance: Saturday, May 18  from 7p-9p at St. Theresa’s

ICubs School Fundraiser: Sunday, May 19th. The Iowa Cubs would like to invite the Saint Francis community for a fun filled day at the field as they take on the New Orleans Babycakes at 1:08p!  This outing will be a fun opportunity to gather together and enjoy America’s favorite past time as we wrap up our school year. Please join us in a reserved section of seats for a day of family, friends, and baseball! Proceeds from our ticket sales will go back to the school! Click on the link above for tickets.

St. Francis Nursery Ministry Orientation: The last nursery orientation for this school year will be held Sunday, May 19 from 6p-6:30p (following the Youth Mass) in Room 2 next to the nursery. Service opportunities are available throughout the summer during the 9:30 and 11:15 Masses as well special events. Duties include playing with children, assisting nursery staff and cleaning toys at the end of a shift.  Volunteers must be in 6th grade or older. If interested in attending, please sign up here. Discovering Spiritual Gifts: Will be held on Sat, June 8th from 9a – 1:30p (light lunch included) at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Clare Room. Space is limited.  Please register here.

The Connection Café is a free lunch program that serves the homeless and low income community downtown.

  • On the 3rd Wednesday of each month, a group from St. Francis of Assisi Church, serves a warm meal and brings supplies to the Connection Café.
  • Each month, an email is sent out requesting help. Students can receive service hours by baking cookies, making the main dish, bagging trail mix, or laundry detergent.

Donate unused hotel toiletries (mini shampoos, soap, lotion, toothpaste, etc.) to either of the GREEN bins outside the school office or in the Gathering Space by the Church.
